The Linden Presbyterian Church is located at 119 West Broad Street, in Linden, Michigan. We were one of about a dozen or so crafters, who sold mittens, jewelery, candles, jams and syrups, baby clothes and decorative pillows.

Location

Linden Presbyterian Church is just off North Bridge Street, also known as Linden Road. It is a nice little white building on the south side of the road. Inside the dining hall, covered in beautiful hardwood and surrounded by white walls, the crafters were arranged around the perimeter and in three short rows in the center of the floor. At the southeast side of the hall lay the kitchen, serving coffee and donuts to the crafters before the show and lunch to those customers choosing to sample its hodgepodge of delectable treats. P*JET * IMAGES faced the north wall, which was the only wall decorated with a mural, that of a rocky sea and a slightly visible, bearded man in the clouds.

Turnout

Turnout was surprisingly abundant, given the intimate setting, as the peak crowds appeared between 11 am and 3pm, despite a major highschool football game.

Sales

P*JET * IMAGES sold a total of eight books, two copies of Adventures in Raoolia, three copies of Meet Penny, two copies of Meet Herbert, and one copy of Meet Larry.

Other Crafters

The other crafters were very nice people, more than willing to share experiences and advice to help us succeed in our adventures in craft show sales. We were placed next to four very nice crafters, one who spoke in a civil tone about politics and the world, another requesting the advice of a fellow writer, and still another recommending interacting with the home-school community.

Overall Review

Overall, I believe this was a great location and due to the turnout, even during this economic crisis, Linden Presbyterian Church may be an annual event for P*JET * IMAGES.
