P*JET * IMAGES spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday, September 18-20 in Frankenmuth, Michigan at the Keepsake Collections Arts and Crafts Show, held in the park next to Zehnder's Restaurant. Friday's show hours were from Noon to 7pm, Saturday's hours were from 10am to 7pm, and Sunday's hours were 11am to 5pm.

Frankenmuth was a hit! While early sales numbers have not been tallied as of 7am Monday morning, P*JET * IMAGES has had their best show ever! It wasn't the fact that we were in Frankenmuth, or that the economy has turned around that was the secrect of our success. It was the wise assessment from a husband and wife team called Penrose Outdoor Photography that saved the day!

On Friday, P*JET set up their booth in a "U" shape, having two six-foot tables on either side of our canopy and our four-foot table in the center. Our mentor, Saturday morning assessed our booth (for free) and pointed out how confusing it was. P*JET did a quick change and the heaves opened up! Our drought-ridden sales suddenly received a deluge of customers, buying over half our children's book inventory, several novels and at least four calendars!

P*JET was overjoyed! We couldn't thank God enough for the reprieve! After eight shows, we finally received some business! Sunday's sales were better than Friday's, but a smaller crowd was onhand that day.

Finally, at 5pm, P*JET broke down their display, loaded up the tiny compact car, and hit the road, for a well-deserved rest in front of the television, dreading Monday morning when they would have to unload the car and catch-up on their Sunday house chores on the first day of the work-week.

Although we did take pictures, they won't be posted on this article, but a future one, as P*JET has a lot of work to do this morning.

Thanks for listening!
